Operating within a dedicated cross-functional feature team, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining customer-centric, secure, and robust frontend web interfaces for banking products. Moving beyond basic markup, this role demands complete lifecycle ownership—meaning you will contribute from initial requirements parsing and UI layout design through to automated testing, performance tuning, and live production deployment. You will work closely with platform architects and business analysts to create accessible, fast-rendering web applications that meet strict banking security and scalability guidelines.

Key Technical Skills:

JavaScript, React.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, Frontend Build Tools (Grunt, Gulp, Bower), Web Architecture, Performance Optimization, Scalability, Git, Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA), Wikis (Confluence)

Requirements:

  • Professional software engineering background with a proven focus on frontend web application design, user interaction layers, and scalable UI architecture.
  • Complete mastery of fundamental web standards (HTML5, Advanced JavaScript, and CSS3) paired with extensive production exposure to the React.js framework and Redux for state management.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining JavaScript-based build systems, task runners, and package managers (such as Grunt, Gulp, and Bower).
  • A strong background in breaking down complex analytical, numerical, and logical interface layout problems with attention to visual detail.
  • Practical understanding of frontend engineering best practices, specifically regarding asset optimization, cross-browser compatibility, virtualized rendering for large datasets, and rapid page availability.
  • Comfortable working inside cross-functional Agile squads, handling everything from requirements gathering and design reviews to writing tests, managing CI/CD deployments, and updating internal project wikis or tracking logs.
